Northwood Announcement

Large Pool Closed to Swimming – Grounds and Baby Pool are still Open

Due to an extreme algae problem the Pool and Grounds committee, along with the Managers, decided to close the large pool today, Saturday, August 29th. The grounds and the baby pool are still open.

They have been working hard to solve this problem all week. The water is clear and the algae is dead, however, it now requires clean up and the refilling of the pool. The hot weather, rain and severe storms have contributed to this type of situation. The goal is to have the pool reopen as soon as possible, however this process can take several days. They anticipate the large pool being available by Wed or Thursday.
We know many of you frequently attend the pool and may have plans for the upcoming Labor Day weekend there! So we will keep you updated with the progress and anticipated opening date of the large pool.
Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated!
