Please see the following hours the pool will be open for the remainder of the season:

Family Night will be on August 7th, from 5-8 pm.  Northwood will provide Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.  Signup for potluck is on the Northwood News board.  If you will be attending, please sign up so we can make sure we have enough Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for everyone.

Session 4 swimming lessons has been canceled.  Also, beginning Aug 1 the pool will be closing at 8 pm.

Volunteers are needed for our July 4th Potluck to run games for the kids.  If you are interested please email Michelle at MNiebauer@comcast.net.

The pool will be closing at 3:30, June 17 due to a swim meet.

Northwood is pleased to announce that we now have a tennis instructor.  Bob Stambaugh will be the instructor for the 2010 season. Bob is a National Pro Tennis Instructor with many years of experience.

Tennis Lessons sign up will be June 12 starting at noon, $10 per 2 week session.

Tennis lessons for kids will be Mon, Wed, Fri from 8:30-11:30, kids will be placed into a one hour block as determined by the instructor.   Each session will be a maximum of 8 kids.

Tennis lessons for adults will be on Tue and Thu from 6-8.  Each session will be a maximum of 8 adults.

Swimming and Tennis Lessons are on a first come, first serve basis. Once the time slots are filled, we can’t add any more spots for swimming/tennis lessons.

Payment is due at the time of registration.

The Pot Luck activity scheduled for June 12 has been cancelled due to the lack of interest.  Also, we will not be having an Adult Night on June 26. We will instead have a Family Night on August 7 with a DJ and other activities.  More details will come for Family Night. 

 The July 4th event is still on schedule and plans to start at 12:00 Noon till 3:00 PM, this will leave plenty of time for those families who have plans to watch the fireworks at the fairgrounds and/or Antietam Battlefield.

 The Movie Night event will also be rescheduled for another time in August.

 We apologize for rearranging the planned events, but due to lack of interest and our financial situation, we need to be diligent with our spending while balancing the fun events that Northwood hosts.
